HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR
Another great year of cycling with the Jubilee comes to an end and a new year and racing season beckons.
Although we may still have the worst of winter to come members are still getting in the miles through our Saturday & Sunday rides and the ever popular Reliability Rides.
We can all look forward to a busy racing schedule of Time Trials & Road Racing programmed for 2017. Our membership numbers are slightly down compared with this time last year but we are sure that with the popularity of cycling still increasing this will recover.
To make the club work we will need, as always, volunteers to help with all events and the general running of the club. British Cycling still need volunteers to train as accredited marshals, (see here for details).
We have the AGM coming up in February (Date TBA) and we hope that you can attend to let us know what you would like from your club. There will be vacancies to fill on the Committee (details to follow) and we hope that you will give consideration to help with the running of your club no matter how small an input that you are able to give.
