After 18 years the club 50 team record has been broken by no less than 2 seconds to 5.34.08!
In Sunday’s Hants 50 John Samways clocked 1.48.49 for a new PB to come 6th and 4th vet on standard. In support was Dave Pickering with 1.50.27 for 13th place and 6th on standard; and Cliff Rowe, just outside his PB with 1.54.52 for 40th place and 3rd on standard.
Another PB was recorded by Kevin Ridge with 2.04.29 which gave the club 2nd team place on standard with plus 1.11.37 (Kevin, John and Cliff). The winning team (hosts – Hampshire Road Club) scored 1.12.39. If Dave had been a VTTA member we would have won by about 10 minutes!
