Dave Pickering won the final BJW club event of the 2015 season, clocking a rapid 20.14 on the Pamphill-Shapwick-Pamphill circuit. Roadman Jason Gault produced the ride of the night though, his super time of 20.21 edging out “A” League winner, John Samways by 7 seconds. An enthusiastic field of 32 enjoyed “good” calm conditions, with all encouraged to use road bikes on the short, sporting, 8.5 mile circuit. Members retired to the Vine Inn, the treasurer’s arm was twisted and the club picked up the tab for the first round, a fitting end to a successful evening time trial season!
