BJW Stage Race – 18th/19th May

Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May sees the second BJW 2 day stage race after the inaugural event last year

Day 1 is based at the Reef Youth & Community Centre, Colehill, Nr Wimborne Minster and will involve two time trial stages:

Stage 1 which is a 1km prologue/hill climb from Furzehill up to the top of Colehill and Stage 2 is a ‘short 10’ mile time trial, based upon the P472c time trial course: any riders interested in entering the stage race can test their legs on this course which will be used for BJW club 10s in April.

Stage 3 will be a 64 mile road race run on the new West Holme circuit. The circuit is 10.7 miles long and will be covered 6 times. A hyperlink to the circuit is below

Any club members  – or any anyone else! – willing to volunteer their time on either or both days to help in the running  of the event should contact the race organiser, Bob Richardson, at Those of you helped last year will remember what a buzz the event created and we hope to deliver the same for riders and volunteers again this year!
