I received an email from Bill Allen this week.
Bill was a member of the BJW in the mid 50’s till the late 60’s before emigrating to Canada then later on to New Zealand.
Bill has a number of mentions in the club archive including he was the first winner of the Founders Cup in 1956 which he held on to until 1961 when Pete Brazeley won it.
