Andy Cooper took the BJW Men’s 25M TT record last weekend on the R25/3H course in the Welsh Valleys. Andy bettered Matt Bottrill’s long standing record (set in 2001) by 6 seconds recording 49 mins 49 seconds. Therefore maintaining a blistering 30 mph+ average for the course and beating a record many never thought would be bettered.
It’s been a great season for husband and wife team Andy and Louisa Cooper. A meticulously planned campaign taking in some of the country’s fastest courses has resulted in:
-Winning the B&DWCA two-up in earlier this month
-Multiple lifetime PBs for Louisa – most recently 22 min 23 secs at Hull yesterday (27th Aug) – 3 seconds off the BJW Womens 10M record!
Congratulations to both for a great season… Keep the momentum through the winter and maybe another record breaking season in 2018?
