BJW TT Season Round Up

The BJW club Time Trial Season ended last Tuesday with the traditional ‘Road Bike Only’ trial on the 8.5M P429 at Pamphill.

John Samways retained the ‘Peter Boston Vine Tankard’ awarded at this event for the fastest time. John also retained the Club League competition.

All club members then retired to The Vine pub to discuss this season’s successes and this winter’s training plan.

It’s been a busy year for the Jubilee. As well as the club Time Trials we organised and held two Open Time Trials, an Open Road Race and a 6 week Track League.

Club Runs on a Sunday Morning and Thursday evening continue now through the Autumn and Winter.

The Interclub Hill Climb competition takes place in September/October. Please ride and support the BJW event at Bulbarrow on 15th October.

The ever popular Reliability Rides are in the Clockwise direction this year!

John Samways awarded the Peter Boston Vine Tankard by Chairman Eamonn Deane:
