As the club evening series goes into the final 2 rounds, Nick Jones leads John Samways by just 4 points in the A league with Danny French heading the B league standings by 15 points from Mark Hitchcott. Kev Harris leads the C league.
Tuesday’s (16th) round on the P311 may well see the titles decided.
The final round at Pamphill (23rd) is more of a celebration with all encouraged to ride road bikes on the short, technical 8.5 mile circuit.
Once again the club will be buying the “first round” at the Vine, a nice way to thank riders and officials for supporting the summer series. The winner of the final race will also be awarded the Peter Boston “Vine Tankard” a fitting tribute to our late president who could often be found at the Vine slaking his thirst after a few steady miles!
